Job Description
Local Client has a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with strong PLC programming skills to join their organization.
Experience with the following:
- Provide electrical hardware and software designs and implementation for rubber processing equipment including mixing, calendaring and extruding equipment.
- Process equipment includes: weighing and feeding and upstream and downstream equipment for mixing, calendaring and extruding.
- Reports to engineering manager
REQUIRED:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing electrical controls and programs for PLC, HMI and AC drives
- Schedule personal workload
- Must have ability to display confidence
- Must have desire to participate in company growth and profit
- Travel approx. 15% (domestic – some International)
- Must be able to understand customers’ needs
- Must be familiar with technical projects like material handling and/or machine design projects
- Must have strong math and logic skills
- Will prepare estimates and concepts for equipment controls based upon customer’s specifications
- Assist in management of projects
- Customer service
REQUIRED:
- BSEE with 5+ years of experience.
